EV motors, gears and accessories emit a high-frequency noise, creating a new NVH challenge for automakers. The structural AC compressor bracket in the 2023 LYRIQ is the first use of Vydyne AVS specifically developed to reduce cabin noise in EVs. Bracket excitation was reduced 10 dB, reducing audible cabin noise by 7dB (80%).

Hailed as one of the quietest cars auto critics have ever driven, the LYRIC has perfected a silent ride thanks in part to Vydyne AVS. We're honored to be named a finalist and proud to partner with GM, Vibracoustic SE, Spencer Plastics and Allegiance Mold to advance innovation, together.
